By using Hauntline you agree to these terms. We can update them; we’ll mark the date at the top.

Age requirement

Hauntline contains mature content — paranormal accounts, missing persons, death, religious horror, and other disturbing themes. You must be 17 years of age or older to use the app. A confirmation prompt appears on first launch.

Use of the service

Hauntline curates stories and case files. Some content involves death, missing persons, or otherwise disturbing material. Content warnings appear on every story. Stories labelled Fiction are works of imagination; stories labelled Inspired by True Events are retellings and have been edited for narrative — Hauntline does not warrant factual accuracy of any kind.

Submissions

When you submit a story you grant Hauntline a non-exclusive licence to edit and publish it within the app. You retain ownership. We will not monetise your submission outside the app without your consent.

Content rules

You may not submit content that names a real person involved in a post-2000 crime, accident, or death without their consent. You may not submit content that reads as instructions for self-harm, weapons use, or ritual practice involving harm. Hauntline removes content that violates these rules and may suspend the submitting account.

Attribution

Reels are linked to their original creators. Hauntline does not host the video; we link to the source.

Reporting content

Every story and reel can be reported from inside the app. Reports are reviewed within 48 hours. Email moderation@hauntline.app for urgent removals.

No warranties

Hauntline is provided as-is. We make no warranties about availability, fitness for purpose, or factual accuracy of any story.
